The Voice 4 – Top 10 – Poll Results, iTunes Rankings and Predictions

The iTunes Rankings

Danielle Bradbery hit the Top 10 on iTunes before 10 am this morning, and has earned the iTunes bonus, which means her votes are multiplied by 10. Welp. She’s in no danger of going home! Just as quickly as Josiah Hawley rose in the iTunes ranks last week, he dropped this week.  Michelle Chamuel fared better with a Pink song this week, rather than Robyn. She’ll probably never sing an unfamiliar artist again.  Look at Holly Tucker in the Top 50, and 3rd among the finalists.  There obviously is a portion of The Voice audience who will respond well to overt spirituality from a contestant. In the wake of the devastating Oklahoma hurricanes, the song may have resonated more than it would have.

Predictions:

Many of you believed Kris Thomas was going home last week. But I wasn’t ready to predict that. I felt he did well enough to stick around. He also performed late in the show, which helped. Could performing late in the lineup again this week have saved him? I’m thinking no, in light of his terrible iTunes sales, his time has come.

The second person to leave is trickier to predict. Holly’s cry to Jeebus saved her this week, if iTunes is any indication. Judith Hill performed early and her performance sold poorly on iTunes. I think she could be SHOCKINGLY booted this week. Or, Josiah Hawley may pay for one too many mediocre performances (last week being an outlier). Amber Carrington could be in danger too. Her performance was lackluster.

Leaving tonight:

Kris Thomas
Josiah Hawley OR Judith Hill OR Amber Carrington (in order of confidence)
