‘The Voice’ live show adds tornado victims tribute – Contestant coach and country artist Blake Shelton and his wife, singer Miranda Lambert, will perform a duet dedicated to their home state of Oklahoma. The song will be performed at the top of the show, which gets underway at 9 p.m. ET. NBC isn’t releasing the song’s title, but we’re told it’s a tune that’s “close to their hearts.” The performance will be accompanied by an on-screen number for American Red Cross donations. – Read more at Entertainment Weekly Plus, tonight’s 8/7c pm recap will be pre-empted by an NBC News special covering the tragedy. ‘American Idol’ Winner Candice Glover: Empire State Building Visit (Exclusive Quotes) – Candice Glover takes in the extreme sights atop the 86th floor Observatory at the Empire State Building in her first trip to New York City on Tuesday (May 21). The 23-year-old winner of American Idol chatted exclusively with JustJared.com about her upcoming album, the AI tour, and more: On her visit to the Empire State Building: “I’ve never been to New York before, so I’m looking at all of this beauty and this is freaking crazy!” – See the Photos at Just Jared

‘American Idol’ Runner-Up Kree Harrison Spills On Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj Drama – “First of all, there’s so much going on, the drama of whatever happens on or off camera, there’s literally, it’s chaos during the live show,” Harrison told MTV News on Monday, just days after Candice Glover was crowned this season’s winner. “So you don’t pay any attention to anything but where you’re supposed to be. I mean, I love Nicki; I love Mariah. We would get a kick out of [the fact that] they would talk to each other at all. So whether it was good or bad, we liked it. I’m a big fan of all of them.” See the Video at MTV

This is my son’s first huge appearance on TV, and I really want to be there.’ A lot of people don’t know, but the day she arrived from Indiana, she got really sick and ended up in the hospital. I was worried, thinking, ‘If I don’t get a chair turned, this was all for nothing.’” – Read more at TV Line

Dancing With The Stars Finale: Kellie Pickler & Derek Hough Talk Freestyle Dance

‘Nashville’: In Defense of Hayden Panettiere’s Juliette Barnes – This bit of information would doubtless send Juliette Barnes into another one of her infamous diva fits, and rightly so: see, Hayden Panettiere — shockingly enough — was not the first choice to play the deliciously bratty and cunning Nashville villainess. After an addictively soapy first season that revealed Panettiere to be a compelling and multi-layered actress who can belt a country song with the best of them (and probably out-sing Taylor Swift, too), it’s difficult to imagine anyone else in the role. – Read more at The Hollywood Reporter

Watch: Major Deacon Problems in ‘Nashville’ Finale – Wednesday is the season finale of ABC’s Nashville, and if these two preview clips are any indication, things are about to get pretty messy in Music City for guitarist Deacon Claybourne. Last week brought us the overdose and death of Juliette’s mother, who murdered Dante, presumably bringing the “sex tape blackmail” story line to its conclusion, and a discovery by Rayna’s oldest daughter of a paternity test showing that Deacon is her real father. – See the Video at at ETOnline

‘Nashville’ Crew Member’s Wife Accuses Show of Mistreatment – The wife of a “Nashville” crew member who wasn’t invited back for the show’s second season is taking the very unusual step of criticizing the studios behind the ABC drama for “endless and exhausting shoot days” and not thanking her husband for his hard work. In a post on her personal blog that was later picked up by news outlets, Micaela Bensko, wife of production supervisor Don Bensko, said the television industry should limit production hours to protect employees. She claimed one “Nashville” crew member nearly died from falling 20 feet after a string of 14-to-19-hour work days. – Read more at The Wrap

‘Glee’: I don’t know what month the show is taking place in and it’s driving me insane! – Let’s get one thing straight right off the bat: If you’re looking for gritty realism, Glee is not the show for you. I understand that this is a musical comedy set in a high school and not Breaking Bad. But ever since Glee‘s fourth-season finale — which ended with middle-of-the-year Regionals as opposed to the typical ender of springtime Nationals (save for season one) — Glee‘s always funky timeline (remember when Blaine was older than Kurt!?) has gotten to some next level weird, and it’s time someone said something about it. – Read more at EW.com
