The Voice season 24 Live Shows begin! The audience votes for the first time this season. But what’s up with only allowing fans to vote ONCE for ONE artist? What could be the reason? Is it a way to keep costs down? Or do producers think the results will be more equitable if votes are restricted? I didn’t vote, because I could decide on just one favorite. (Read our Recap)
The Voice 24 Top 12 Ranked (Power List) – Rate the Artists!
It makes more sense to restrict votes at the finale when only five artists compete and ONE winner will be revealed (like last season). But before that, fans should be allowed to vote for several artists whom they’d like to see advance to the next round.
NBC seems to be investing the bulk of their budget on their “superstar” coaches, while slashing the costs everywhere else. Having only three weeks of live show competition really stinks. And it’s too bad, because The Voice has assembled a stellar Top 12 this season.
