Get ready for a ton of country music tonight. I’m not jumping up and down over any of these song choices. I give Kennedy credit for putting herself out there as a contemporary artist rather than a pageant princess. Chevel’s Tanya Tucker cover is pretty perfect, but her original song sounds like another artist’s leftover. Kirk Jay covers Rascal Flatts again as he continues his quest to make everybody cry. And Chris Kroeze covers another Southern rock classic. Although, his original song was more pop sounding than I expected.
