Her vocal ability aside, this ga is kind of a nut, and I like it. From the moment she clomped up the stairs in her cowboy boots, to her attacking the three coaches who turned for a hug, she’s the kind of character I hope sticks around for a little while.
A bad sign: The lone holdout for a chair turn is country singer Blake Shelton. It turns out she is fellow Oklahoman who sang duets with him at age 3 on the Oklahoma Opry. Its obvious he has no recollection of doing that. You never know though–Blake didn’t turn around for season 8 runner-up Meghan Linsey, but then swiped her from Pharrell during the battles.
The clip’s cliffhanger isn’t which team Kata chooses, but whether she actually makes out with Christina–at her invite.
