Promotion for the upcoming season of The Voice is heating up! Check out this video, which is a “First Look” at season 10. Catch a few glimpses of the singers, and we even hear one belt it out. Of course, there are antics galore between the coaches. Christina Aguilera returns to the panel including Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams, whom she describes as like her brothers. Best line from Christina: “When I’m here, you don’t run the show Blake!” Go get em, girl.
The coaches actually discuss the talent rather than their adorable antics, or how they feel about coaching on the Greatest Talent Show In The World in this exclusive clip from Yahoo.
The panel namechecks favorite blind auditions, including Javier Colon (s1 winner), Matthew Schuler (s5), Jake Worthington (s6), Sawyer Fredericks (s8 winner). Clips from all four auditions flash by, as the coaches reminisce about the time they first saw them. Additionally, the coaches share their thoughts on tough battles. Blake now feels pitting Erin Willett (now competing on NBC’s The Biggest Loser) against Gwen Sebastian was a mistake. After Gwen was eliminated, he hired her as his backup singer and they went on to record a duet together. Adam regrets giving away eventual season 6 winner Josh Kaufman to Usher in the Battles.
Blake’s favorite moment was Season 4 winner Cassadee Pope singing a song he penned with his ex wife Miranda Lambert about his late brother, “Over You.” Pharrell will never forget the season 9 battle rehearsals for Mark Hood and Celeste Betton’s “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” that made advisor Missy Elliott cry. And of course, Adam declares season 9 winner, Jordan Smith’s version of “Somebody To Love” as his favorite The Voice performance “in the history of the show.”
Christina teases that she will sing with one of her teammates on the coming season. The Voice season 10 premieres Monday February 29 on NBC.
