Kitty
Clues: Kitty’s best friend is here to dish. She didn’t have a ton of friends as a kid and was bullied as a kid. “She’s always had a flair for the dramatic….it’s her dark side that will help her slay the competition.” As kids, Kitty directed movies they would star in.
Performance: Mama’s Broken Heart by Miranda Lambert – Kitty is definitely not a country singer. I’m not sure about this song choice for her. T-Pain feels like he knows her. The celebrities made friendship bracelets. Kitty made hers for Robin. It says “Fireworks.” The first time we me was lit, she says. T-Pain guesses Christina Ricci, because she was in Adams Family. Ken thinks it’s “dear friend” Kristen Bell. Jenny shoves a big Ken mask in front of her face, “I know exactly who this is!” she mimics, guessing Haylie Duff.
Prediction: Kitty is very mysterious! But two guesses popular on the internets are singing show alums: Lucy Hale from American Juniors and America’s Got Talent runner up Jackie Evancho.
FULL PERFORMANCE
Taco
Clues: Taco introduces a famous friend to speak on his behalf. The initials EM is a hint that Taco won an Emmy. “We both have something extremely personal in common. We both help people when they are knocked down.” Plus, they both love their children. And “We always find the humor in everything. It’s all about the laughs.” Additional hints are seafood and baked beans. He ends the segment with “Cheers.”
Performance: Can’t Help Myself by Four Tops – OK this is a terrible song choice. I don’t want Taco to go home tonight! But I think there is a good chance he will. Ha ha. Dudes dressed up as chefs dancing along with him. Taco gives his friendship bracelet to Nicole It says “Kiss.” Hm. “When I saw you in person, you were perfect.” Nicole guesses Barry Manilow. lol. Robin guesses Howie Mandel. Close…but nope. Jenny guesses Jerry Springer. The judges are dancing around the truth! Taco suggests that everyone look a little deeper and be nice to each other. Oh. Taco admits ‘Kiss” isn’t an actual kiss.
Prediction: Aw. This is 100% Tom Bergeron. The judges were stuck on the Emmy hint. Tom won the Best Host Emmy about 10 years ago or so. The “Kiss” friendship bracelet: Nicole won Dancing with the Stars in 2010. She got a perfect score after dancing to a KISS song with her partner Derek Hough. The shrimp, baked beans and “Cheers” clues all point to Tom’s hometown Boston. See below: Tom was unmasked tonight.
Watch Taco’s FULL PERFORMANCE.
Banana
Clues: Banana’s family drops some clues! They say he’s a great role model. Banana taught them how to drive by getting them go-karts. (The number 11 on the go-kart must be significant.) He built a racetrack in their backyard–dug up the bushes himself. He’s been through a lot of “heartburn” in his life. There is a jar of Jam and a bunch of tools on the table in front of the kids.
Performance: Lean on Me by Bill Withers – OK. Maybe Banana is leaving this week. This is clearly the worst vocal performance of the night. I’m not loving the song choices tonight. Banana’s father recently passed away. “The song was our jam.” Banana’s bracelet is for Jenny “Nineties Love” He says, “We had a chance to hang…as friends. We had an awesome time. I love you.” Jenny guesses race car driver Michael Andretti, because they hung together back then. They became friends at the Playboy mansion! Nicole guesses Brad Paisley. Uhm. Brad can actually sing, Nicole. Ken guesses Larry the Cable guy. DUBIOUS. T-Pain guesses Johnny Knoxville.
Prediction: The internet says Banana is Bret Michaels.
Frog
Clues: Frog’s friend is probably his mother/manager. She’s “known Frog since he was little and knew immediately he’d be a superstar.” She looked out for him when he was in LA. “Even then he had an entourage.” She took him to his first late night talk show. “It was way past his bedtime, but I let it slide.” Definitely his mother. Frog was a child star! “He was cool calm and collected, way beyond his years.” A green bow tie. Bow with a long O vs bow with an ow! “Life hasn’t always been easy for him.” There’s a set of multicolored flowers–blue, white, yellow and pink. “Good luck and keep cranking. You can even stay up past eleven.”
Performance: You Dropped a Bomb on Me by The Gap – Like Kitty, Frog is a good singer. And he’s an even better performer. “You’re this season’s Fox” says Nicole referring to last season’s winner, Wayne Brady. Frog’s friendship bracelet is for T-Pain. “All We Do Is Win” Ken guesses Tommy Davidson. WHAT? Robin guesses Omarion.
Prediction: Most believe Frog is rapper Bow Wow. He appeared on the Arsenio Hall Show at the age of six in 1993
Watch Frog’s FULL performance below:
Results: The singer with the least amount of votes is…Taco! BOOOOOOOOOO. Final guesses: Nicole: Barry Manilow. Ken: Martin Short Robin: Martin Short T-Pain: Kelsey Grammer. Jenny: Jerry Springer – These guesses are all bad. Just wait until the reveal! And Taco is….Tom Bergeron.
The panel can’t believe they missed it. He knows all of them, except for Ken. Jenny wrote a blurb for the cover of his book! And of course, Nicole won DWTS in 2010. The “Kiss” on the friendship bracelet referred to her achieving a perfect score on DWTS dancing with Derek Hough.
- The bowl of baked beans in Taco’s package referred to Tom’s hometown of Boston.
- The red trolley car in Taco’s package referred to his track on the Mr. Rogers tribute album.
- Bob Saget was Tom’s “famous friend” in his package.
- The stack of VHS tapes referred to Tom’s hosting “America’s Funniest Home Video” (After Bob gave it up!)
