The Masked Singer 14: Who Was Unmasked on Twilight night?
The Masked Singer 14 week 6 features a “Twilight Night” theme. Ken Jeong, Rita Ora, Robin Thicke and Jenny McCarthy sit on the judges panel. Nick Cannon hosts.
The show opens with a remembrance of the late James Vanderbeek, who died recently after at battle with colorectal cancer. He was only 48! Cancer sucks. He performed as the Griffen on the show.
Christina Perri is here to sing “One Thousand Years” the theme of one of the Twilight movies. Wasn’t she a guess for one of the competing masks? Guess it’s not her!
Cat Witch
Clues: So….we already know who this is. It’s Kylie Cantrall, a Disney star. Or “star.” She revealed herself from the get go. Just for a fun twist I guess? She found her soul mate and got married.
Performance: It Will Rain by Bruno Mars – Cat sings an emotional ballad by Bruno and certainly buys herself another week. Producers will certainly make sure to keep her on until the bitter end, because of the “twist.” On Stage Clue via Valentines clues: Chocolate turkey. Over 30 million people watched me on one big day. Jenny guesses Victoria Justice. Ken guesses Zendaya. Rita guesses Hailee Steinfeld.
14 Karat Carrot
Clues: He met his wife when he was 18 on campus. They did not see eye to eye initially. He serenaded her and she fell in love. “We’ve kept the fire alive.”
Performance: Tainted Love by Gloria Jones – Well, Carrot is a decent singer. But clues point to him being an athlete maybe. The entire performance has baseball clues. This version of the song, with kids rapping, is pretty weird. On Stage Valentines Clue: Gold Star. “They told me to shoot for the stars and I landed in one in Hollywood.” Ken guesses Lionel Richie. NOOOOOOO. Jenny guesses Jermaine Jackson. Robin guesses Ron Isley.
The partners of the judges taped Valentines messages for their baes. That includes Jenny’s husband, Donnie Wahlberg, who left a present behind the desk for her.
Stingray
Clues: After years of running around he proposed to his girlfriend. Witches hat, coconut, basketball.
Performance: Bad Habits by Ed Sheeran – Stingray is a decent enough R&B flavored pop singer. But the first two singers were better. On Stage Valentines Clue: Empty ring box. “Happy Valentines day Stingray.” Guess it’s from his wife. Jenny guesses Jordan Fisher, Ken guesses Joey Mcintyre. Rita guesses Jason Derulo.
Owl
Clues: He knows a thing or two about chemistry. 1992. Surfing on the beach. He went out on a date. They’ve been together ever since. They bird watch together.
Performance: White Wedding by Billy Idol – His voice is pretty terrible? I MEAN REALLY TERRIBLE. Maybe it’s an older dude who used to have a better voice? Like, have you heard David Lee Roth lately? Pretty grim. On Stage Clue: From his wife? Owl begins crying. Robin guesses Walton Goggins. Jenny guesses Ted Danson, Ken guesses Woody Harrelson.

First Result
The two singers who are safe and moving on in the competition are: Cat Witch and 14 Karat Carrot. Stingray and Owl will compete in the “Vampire Royale”
Vampire Royale
Stingray sings “Love is a Battlefield” by Pat Benatar. Owl sings the same song! Stingray is the better vocalist, for sure. The judges panel decides who leaves the competition.
