The Masked Singer 11 Top 3 Battle for a Spot in the FINALE

In a special two-hour episode, things kick off with the Road To The Semi-Finals. The show took a walk down memory lane to relive the season’s most exciting highlights as well as special performances from the final three. The episode also featured exclusive behind-the-scenes moments from the Season Eleven contestants.

The competition followed with an episode titled, “Semi-Finals: Then There Were Three” as the three remaining contestants battled it out for the final two spots. Songs performed included “You Oughta Know,” “Dancing In The Street,” and “I Lived.” ONE celebrity was eliminated at the end of the show.

Nick Cannon hosts, while Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, and Ken Jeong sit on the judges panel alongside new judge, Rita Ora.

The returning mystery celebrities include contestants Gumball, Clock, and Goldfish. The competition begins at 9 pm ET/PT.

The Top 3 open the show with a group number, singing “Higher Love” by Steve Winwood. There will be a THREE WAY Battle Royale at the end of the episode. The audience and panel will determine who leaves. Also, the Prime Amazon tie in is back. The judges can request one extra clue.

Gumball

Clues; He loves to sing. Music was his first love. But instead, acting took the forefront. He’s doing what he loves for a change. He has children.

Performance: I Lived by OneRepublic – He’s dedicating tonight’s performance to his kids. His singing has improved from the beginning. Maybe it took learning how to navigate performances while wearing a giant gumball machine mask. On Stage Clue. It’s the SEMIFINAL SUPER CLUE. A cheerleader takes the stage. “Hearing those cheers reminds me of a role that changed this gumball’s life forever.” Robin guesses James Vanderbeek. Jenny guesses Jason Sudeikis, Rita guesses Taylor Kitsch from Friday Night Lights.

Clock

Clues: She’s not as young as she used to be. She had stage fright as a young woman. She wants to introduce herself to a whole new generation.

Performance: Dancing in the Streets by Martha and the Vandellas – Clock has the same sturdy voice that Martha had. Good song choice. Older female artists don’t win the show, and sometimes they are eliminated early. Could clock beat the odds and make the final? On Stage Clue: The men bring out gold bars. “This isn’t the first…every performance has been SOLID GOLD baby.” Robin guesses Stephanie Mills. Jenny guesses Roberta Flack. Rita guesses Thelma Houston. DING DING DING. That’s who it is.

The panel calls for the Prime extra, hidden in an Amazon box. Roller skates. It only makes Jenny believe her guess more. That didn’t change any minds. Rita nailed it, though.

Goldfish

Clues: She wanted to be a pediatrician. Fame was not her goal. She didn’t like living in a fishbowl. She became more private. She wore a prom dress to an Awards show.

Performance: You Oughta Know by Alanis Morrisette – It a rendition of the song without the really racy lyrics. you know the ones. Goldfish is going to win. I can feel it. The person this is–she’s about ready for a career comeback. On Stage Clue: Anonymous takes the stage. Demi Lovato played her. “It’s a real blast from the past. Me and the mouse go way way back.” Rita guesses Vanessa Hudgens. STOP YOU GOT IT THAT’S WHO IT IS. But no–she then moves on to guess Ashley Tisdale. Jenny guesses Selena Gomez. Robin guesses Hilary Duff

Battle Royale

Clock, Gumball and Goldfish perform Kelly Clarkson’s American Idol coronation single, “A Moment Like This.” Ha ha. The Beets singing this song would have been funny. They all sing it in power ballad style. Even Gumball doesn’t try to rock it up. Goldfish’s version is the most contemporary, featuring guitar licks. It’s the least bombastic of the three. WHERE IS THE CONFETTI.

RESULTS: Who Was Unmasked?

The Votes have been counted. The singer coming in third place, unmasking tonight, is…Clock. Not surprising at all. Gumball and Goldfish advance to next week’s finale. The older women have it tough. Gladys Knight finished third her season. She’s the diva that went furthest, I believe. Final Guesses: Robin: Stephanie Mills. Jenny: Roberta Flack Really dumb guess. Ken: Janet Jackson. He’s not serious. Rita. Thelma Houston.

Oh. A cliffhanger. Just as Clock pulls off her mask…commercial break! And the Clock IS Disco legend, Thelma Houston. Rita got it right. She looks great! And time hasn’t ruined her voice. And she’s still got moves! She sings out performing her signature hit, “Don’t Leave Me This Way.”
