The Masked Dancer continues tonight on FOX with the Top 4 semifinal episode, and we are liveblogging the performance and results here.

Ken Jeong from The Masked Singer sits on the panel next to former American Idol and SYTYCD judge Paula Abdul, actress Ashley Tisdale and former The Masked Singer contestant Brian Austin Green. Actor and comedian Craig Robinson hosts.

The short season features 10 costumed celebrities. Tonight the Top 5 compete: TulipCotton Candy, Sloth, and Zebra.

It’s a Valentine’s Day themed show! There’s a group number with EXTRA CLUES.

Miss Paula Abdul has the most correct guesses! Last week’s Jordin Sparks was kind of a gimme though.

Tonight’s guest judge is Will Arnett. He’s the host of Lego Masters

Cotton Candy

Clues: Love has taken a backseat to her career. She started her career at six. A drink cup with “Supergirl” is a clue.  Four years of her life had just “blown by” as a plane flies by.  She travels a lot. “Boss” is a clue.

Performance: Get Ready by 2 Unlimited – CC performs a cheer themed routine with lots of HIGH KICKS. Which I suppose is impressive in itself. It looks like work out video, with floor squats. The choreo here is actually kind of lame? OK. You’ve got the moves of a highly competent high school cheerleader. Good for you? This week, the contestants read clues. Plus, Word Up: Cover Girl. Will guesses Tara Lipinski. Ashley guesses Simone Biles, Paula guesses Gabby Douglas. Cotton Candy says she’s been a judge herself!

Prediction: Cotton Candy is Tara Lipinski. Tara was the SIXTH American to win a Gold Medal at the Olympics for Ice Skating.

Sloth

Clues: Dancing found him true love. When he was younger he was “kind of a bad boy” and a ladies man. They were incredible leading ladies–an ice skater, a panda bear and some kind Spice Halloween Jar. He met the love of his life. “Love is magic.” A stethoscope? A goose with a U flies by.

Performance: Dancing with a Stranger – He’s dancing a Samba! This should be good. He’s acting like a total goof up there. But then he gets serious with the moves. LOTS OF HIP ACTION. His ballroom partner is really good! Paula notes he has a “special skill.” Sloth’s life connection is Brian. They have shared a co-star. Wordup: App. Hm. Ken guesses Patrick Dempsey. OMG PAULA IS SO GOOD AT THIS. She guesses Maks Chmerkovskiy. Brian thinks it’s Val Chmerkovskiy, because he saw Maks when he was supposed to be rehearsing? Or something. Sloth says “competing runs in the family.”

Prediction: Sloth is Maks Chmerkovskiy. Paula is such a good guesser! I was sure Sloth would stump the panel. Brian thinks its Maks’ younger brother Val. But the “bad boy” clues point to Maks. Also, Paula is right about that Scary Spice jar–Maks partnered with Scary Spice aka Melanie Brown on DWTS. Also, Maks has done several Broadway shows. That stethoscope may point to Maks’ 3 episode arc on the daytime soap, General Hospital. Additionally, the “MIAMI” clue during the group dance: Maks proposed to his wife Peta Murgatroyd while they were performing in Miami on tour.

Zebra

Clues: Cowboy boots. XX Holly, Boxes on his hands. He lost someone close to him many years ago. “Be a part of the cure. ” Sounds like cancer. The person in his life who passed loved Bobby Darin.

Performance: Mack the Knife by Bobby Darin – This week featuring a bunch of awkward hopping. Last week’s performance was better. He jumps through a paper hoop, which is somewhat dramatic! Zebra’s Valentine is…Paula. “You gave me a shout out online, now I’m giving you a shout out here. I love you!” Wordup: Box Office Will guesses Mike Tyson. Ken guess The Miz (a wrestler) Brian still thinks its Oscar De La Hoya

Tulip

Clues: Iceberg sticking out of her underarm.  She’s the youngest left in the competition. “Some things never change,” she says. She misses her best bud. “She may have taken home more trophies than me, but I still love her so much.”  A card with an angry face. Two Candy apples.

Performance: OK THis is kind of WEIRD. She’s actually dancing to Polka music. But, it’s a fun performance and the steps kind of tricky. Tulips Valentine is Ashley: “I’ve dance for High School Musical for over 10,000 hours. You’re my fav forever.” Word Up: Butterflies. Ashley guesses Mackenzie Ziegler Will guesses Noah Cyrus Paula guesses Liza Koshy

Prediction: Tulip is Mackenzie Ziegler Dancing the Polka is actually a hint. MacKenzie is from Western Pennsylvania, where the Polka rules. Eastern Europeans came to the region to work the steel mills. You all saw Deer Hunter, right? Also “Candy Apples” were the rival team on Dance Moms. Mackenzie’s “best bud” who won all the trophies is surely her big sister Maddie, who won all the trophies on Dance Moms. MacKenzie has existed under her shadow, but she’s saying in her clue package that they are still close. Ashley mentioned that MacKenzie voiced Princess Lily in Ice Princess.

Results

The dancer leaving tonight is….The Zebra! That’s a correct elimination. The rest are the best dancers.

Judge Questions: Millions of people have watched him in Las Vegas. He has a special lady in his life. He’s 4 inches taller than Ken Jeong. He has a major award on his mantle. Ken gesses The Miz. Ashley guesses Conor McGregor.  Paula guesses Floyd Mayweather. Brian guesses Oscar De La Hoya Will agrees with Brian Oscar De La Hoya.

And Zebra is Oscar De La Hoya! I was sure Zebra was Tito Ortiz. But come to think of it, Ortiz is probably too controversial for this show. Aw. Oscar’s mom passed of Cancer. He also had a Grammy nomination.
