The Glee kids, hot on the heels of taping an episode of Oprah Winfrey over the weekend in Chicago, flew to Washington to take part in Monday’s traditional Easter Egg Roll on the White House lawn.

On Sunday, while preparing for tomorrow’s festivities, they snapped pictures of themselves on the White House lawn. Check out more photos after the jump.

  1. Nice shots! I thought the White House Egg Roll was a closed family/political friends event.

Can’t wait for Glee to start up!

  2. iFly55 – no, not at all. We attended last year. Previous to last year to get tickets you had to wait in line (usually starting the night before), but this year they rework ticket distribution to make it more fair. Instead of line waiting in the middle DC, which honestly not everyone could do unless you have a flexible white collar job, work nights or are unemployed, they now do an online lottery. I think this is the most fair of all.. it means that more people can attend from outside of DC, VA or MD. We have lots of folks visiting for spring break & what could be more fun than to end it with an Easter Roll at the WH? So while, I’m sure that the WH has extra tickets to pass to friends and staff, a good number of tickets are distributed to community groups that assist underprivileged youths in DC. You can see them in large groups with the same color shirts. Last year among many others.. Fergie performed a few songs (clean act lol) & I got to shake the President & First Lady’s hands… I don’t think that will every happen again. :)
