The American Idol Top 5’s jam-packed schedule wasn’t too full to attend the Champagne Launch Of BritWeek 2009 on Thursday. Got to honor those bosses Brits, don’t you know.
Adam Lambert, Kris Allen, Allison Iraheta, Danny Gokey and Matt Giraud mingled with the likes of Monty Python’s Eric Idle, musician Jeff Lynne, actor Kenneth Branagh and a fake Austin Powers.
And also, of course, ex-Idol producer, Nigel Lythgoe, who tweeted:
“I hope it didn’t look rude? I was leaving the party as the ‘Idols’ arrived. All the press wanted to know was, ‘Will Cowell stay on Idol?'”
Like two ships passing through the night! Poor Nigel will never get away from those Idol questions.
