Last week Marty and Hagan were eliminated from the race. Tonight the race continues in Colombia. How will the remaining teams fare tonight? Let’s find out!
Tyler and Korey won the last leg of the race, so they are the first to depart. They learn they must go to Plaza San Diego for their next clue. Right behind them are Brodie and Kurt, Burnie and Ashley, and Dana and Matt. We learn that Tyler had a crush on Korey when they first met, but they have only been friends. We also see a scene of Brodie getting frustrated with Kurt spending too much time asking for directions.
At Plaza San Diego, they get their next clue. They learn they must go to Castillo San Felipe and search the catacombs to find their next clue. Tyler and Korey and Brodie and Kurt find the clue box inside the catacombs and learn they have a Detour to complete. They can do either Tickets or Tejo. Tickets require team members to board a bus as a conductor and collect 20,000 pesos from passengers. Tejo requires teams to toss a metal disc underhanded to hit three targets that will explode. Tyler and Korey and Brodie and Kurt both choose Tejo.
The other teams are making their way through the catacombs as Brodie and Kurt are the first to begin the Detour. They finish it before Tyler and Korey arrive. Brodie and Kurt learn they must now go to Calle San Juan De Dios. They are in first place as Tyler and Korey begin the Tejo Detour. Back at the catacombs, Erin and Joslyn struggle making their way through there due to being claustrophobic. However, they manage to retrieve the clue and they choose the Tickets Detour. Zach and Rachel and Scott and Blair also choose the Tickets Detour. Everyone else chooses the Tejo Detour. Darius and Cameron are still in last place as the order of the teams stay the same. Tyler and Korey finish the Detour too and can make their way to Calle San Juan De Dios too.
Brodie and Kurt arrive at Calle San Juan De Dios and learn they have a Roadblock to complete. One team member must find matching mochila bags by the same designer from vendors on the streets. Kurt does the Roadblock for his team. After he already got started, Tyler and Korey arrive at the Roadblock too. Tyler decides to find the mochila bags for his team. Burnie and Ashley also completed the Detour and arrive at the Roadblock with Ashley doing the task for her team.
While the other teams are still working on their Detours, Kurt finishes the Roadblock. He and Brodie can now make their way to the Pit Stop: Baluarte De Santiago. Tyler finishes the Roadblock too, but Brodie and Kurt make it to the Pit Stop first. Brodie and Kurt are Team #1! They win a trip to Mykonos, Greece. Tyler and Korey greet Phil later as Team #2. Korey jokingly points out that he and Tyler get first place when he does the Roadblock, but are in second when Tyler does them.
Dana and Matt arrive at the Roadblock (Dana does the Roadblock). Zach and Rachel, Erin and Joslyn, and Scott and Blair finish the Tickets Detour. Well, Zach and Rachel think they finished it. Rachel miscounted the money and didn’t realize this until Zach and Rachel were in a taxi on the way to the Roadblock. They now have to go back and finish the Detour. The other teams including Brittany and Jessica, Sheri and Cole, and Darius and Cameron have completed the Tejo Detour.
Ashley finishes the Roadblock, and she and Burnie make their way to the Pit Stop as Team #3. Dana finishes the Roadblock too, but she visibly annoys a vendor when she steps all over the jewelry displayed along with the bags. She and Matt greet Phil as Team #4. Meanwhile, Brittany and Jessica and Sheri and Cole begin the Roadblock. Jessica and Cole agree to help each other find their mochila bags.
Zach and Rachel finally finish the Tickets Detour and can make their way to the Roadblock now. Jessica managed to find all her bags, but she continues to help Cole find his. However, Cole tells Jessica to just go ahead to the Pit Stop so she and Brittany don’t fall behind. Brittany and Jessica greet Phil as Team #5. Soon afterwards, Cole does manage to find his last bag, and he and Sheri can go to the Pit Stop too. They greet Phil as Team #6.
Other teams begin the Roadblock with Erin, Darius, and Scott doing the Roadblock for their teams. The sun has set by this point, making the task more difficult. All teams are struggling trying to find their mochila bags. Erin and Scott agree to help each other, but Scott gets annoyed when Erin runs off without him at one point. They have not completed the task by the time Zach and Rachel finally show up. Zach chooses to do the Roadblock.
Darius manages to find all his bags, but he gets lost trying to find the vendor that will give him his next clue. He does not realize the vendor is right in front of him at one point. He goes looking around the streets again, unknowingly wasting time. Erin finally completes the Roadblock, and she and Joslyn greet Phil as Team #7. Right behind them are Scott and Blair. Scott managed to complete the Roadblock too, and he and Blair are Team #8.
Darius and Cameron should have checked in at the Pit Stop by now, but Darius is still unable to find the vendor. Zach finishes the Roadblock too, and he and Rachel can now make their way to the Pit Stop. Zach thinks he knows where the Pit Stop is, but he is mistaken. He is lost, but fortunately for him a local points him in the right direction. Meanwhile, Darius finally notices the vendor he needed to give the bags to. She hands him his clue, and he and Cameron can now make their way to the Pit Stop. It’s a very close footrace to the Pit Stop.
Zach and Rachel arrive at the Pit Stop thinking they are in last place. They tell Phil to give them the bad news, but he tells them the last place team is right behind them. They look around and see Darius and Cameron sprinting to the Pit Stop. With both teams on the mat, Phil informs Darius and Cameron that they are the last team to arrive at the Pit Stop. Darius and Cameron have been eliminated from the race. They are understandably disappointed, and they say bad luck and bad decisions are to blame for their early exit.
