Teen Choice Awards 2010 – Recap and Videos!

TEEN CHOICE 2010: David Archuleta and John Cena present the award for Choice Hoties during TEEN CHOICE 2010 at the Gibson Amphitheater, Universal City, CA. TEEN CHOICE 2010 airs Monday, Aug. 9 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

All the hoopla  happened Sunday night when they filmed in Los Angeles, so it sorta seemed like an afterthought when the Teen Choice Awards actually aired on FOX tonight.

Sadly, Lee DeWyze’s win for Choice TV: Male Reality Star was not announced, but David Archuleta got a nod for winning Choice American Idol (beating out heavy-hitters, Chris Daughtry, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson – Yay power-voting fans!)

Plus, Archie presented, along with wrestler and actor John Cena, an award for Choice Hottie to Taylor Lautner and Megan Fox. There was rapping involved. Oh yes there was.

Chris Daughtry, looking perfectly OK with the fact that he lost Choice Music -Rock Album to Paramour, rattled off some of the night’s winners, including  “a buddy of mine” Ryan Seacrest, for Choice TV Personality.

The Glee guys co-hosted the show with Katy Perry, playing high school archetypes in some fun skits with her. And at one point, the Glee cast was on stage to accept Choice TV: Comedy, with Jane Lynch accepting the award.

After the jump, watch clips of David Archuleta and John Cena, Chris Daughtry and a dance routine from the Step Up 3d kids, featuring Twitch from So You Think You Can Dance. The hip-hop all star and the fab Cat Deeley presented an award (and plugged this week’s SYTYCD finale) later in the show.
