Teen Choice 2015 First Wave Nominations

teenchoice2015

Summer means it’s time for the FOX Teen Choice awards! Empire snagged 4 nominations, including for actors, Taraji P. Henson. Terrance Howard and Jussie Smollett. And the usual suspects are all present–which I’ve bolded for your convenience. One Direction, Fifth Harmony, Maroon 5, Carrie Underwood and Blake Shelton all received noms. American Idol and The Voice are both up in the TV Reality Show category, but I suspect newbie, Lip Sync Battle might be a fav amongst the youngsters. Chris Colfer and Lea Michele are lame duck candidates for Glee. And Nashville is nominated, along with Hayden Panettiere.

In a hilarious turn of events, ex-One Direction member, Zayn Malik is up against his former bandmates in the “Choice Hottie” category. Grab your popcorn, kids!

Check out the first wave of nominations below. More will be revealed in a few weeks.
