The First Wave of Teen Choice 2014 Nominees have been announced by FOX. I bolded the names of shows and celebrities we cover. Glee, American Idol, The Voice, Survivor and The Amazing Race are nominated.
Oddly, the only actor from Glee nominated is Chord Overstreet, which makes me wonder if he’ll be the de facto male lead on the series for it’s last season next year.
Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban are all nominated in the country categories. But other than that–there are no alums from either The Voice or American Idol who are nominated for awards.
This is only the “First Wave” of nominations. There will be more announced later. The Teen Choice Awards special airs Sunday August 10 LIVE on FOX.
