Lee DeWyze dropped by the talk show of his old pal, Ellen DeGeneres, to perform his song “Fight.” Ellen was a judge on American Idol when the singer took the title in 2010.

So, maybe Lee Dewyze is releasing a new single! “Like I Do” is listed at Amazon with  a July 23 release and is a track on the American Idol season 9 winner’s forthcoming album, due out on August 20th.

Lee DeWyze announced he’ll be on tour this summer, opening for singer Serena Ryder.
