Jason Castro celebrates his daughter Madeline’s birthday by releasing a song he wrote for her called “Enough” set to family videos of her first year of life.
“We’re huge Demi Lovato fans,” tweeted Jason Castro enthusiastically about the “Give Your Heart a Break” cover the Season 7 Idol alum performed with his brother Michael (he went to Hollywood in Season 8).
Mark your calendars! Jason Castro announced today that he will be releasing his sophomore studio album, Only A Mountain, on January 15, 2013. Before the full album release, Jason will be releasing the Starting Line EP on August 28th, exclusive to Walmart and online retailers. The EP will feature five tracks.

Elliott Yamin, Melinda Doolittle and Jason Castro were in Washington DC Wednesday to promote Malaria No More, an organization dedicated to ending deaths by malaria in Africa by 2015.
The trio spoke to members about the cause and then took to the stage later that evening to perform.
