Survivor 34 Game Changers Episode 13 Recap and Live Blog

A new episode of Survivor: Game Changers airs tonight on CBS. Read a live recap and join the discussion here.

The episode begins with the tribe returning to camp after tribal council. Aubry and Andrea discuss Sarah’s behavior after the votes were read. They noticed how Sarah was acting shocked to see Sierra go. They’re concerned about her actions, and Andrea says it might be time to vote out Sarah. Cirie, on the other hand, mentions how Sarah has screwed over so many people on the jury, and she might be possible to beat in a Final 3 situation. The next morning, Sarah receives the Legacy Advantage. She learns she can play this Legacy Advantage either when there are thirteen people in the game or six people in the game. Along with her “Steal A Vote” advantage, Sarah now has two advantages. Sarah also says she’d like to vote out Andrea next.

It’s now time for the immunity challenge. While holding onto a handle to keep a table balanced, they must build a house of cards atop of it with their free hand. Whoever builds the highest stack first will win immunity. The challenge begins, and it’s close between Aubry and Andrea. However, Andrea’s cards collapse, putting Aubry in the lead. More people’s cards fall, allowing Aubry to keep her lead. However, her stack of cards wasn’t high enough to reach the point to win the challenge. She is now taking cards down to rebuild it, giving Andrea a chance to take over. However, a gust of wind causes Andrea’s cards to collapse. Afterwards, Aubry places her last card at the designated point. Aubry wins immunity! Before the commercial break, we hear a confessional from Andrea. She says that Troyzan and Brad may have voted for her, but she thinks it’s time to vote out Sarah. She calls Sarah too crafty and good at pulling people in. She says they need to vote out Sarah now when she isn’t likely to suspect it.

The tribe returns to camp. Aubry is glad to have won immunity and she has something she can add to her résumé. She says Troyzan is likable, but she believes Brad is a stronger physical player and should be the next one out. Meanwhile, Michaela doesn’t want Brad to find an idol, so she suggests to Brad that he go fishing. This greatly irritates Brad. In addition, Andrea is suggesting to vote out Sarah tonight instead of Brad. This makes Cirie and Aubry unsure about Andrea since they’d rather send Brad out tonight. Cirie tells Sarah this information, and Cirie is now wondering if it’s time to vote out Andrea.

It’s time for tribal council. Aubry says there is a more solid “we” than before. Sarah says that if they have support behind them, there’s nothing to worry about. Troyzan says that the play should be to go to the people in the bottom to gain loyalty from the person they’re saving. Cirie and Andrea comment how there was little scrambling going on at camp today, and Andrea says it makes her feel uneasy. Brad says no one talked to him, but he hopes people will realize it’s now time to get rid of someone like Andrea. When discussing the jury, Sarah believes people will reward great game play regardless, but Aubry points out that emotions do come into play. Andrea agrees, and she says it’s vicious to rub salt into the wound. Michaela says the goal for today is to keep the strong group together to get to the end. However, Brad points out that if they do get to Final 5, the person who will eventually come in fifth place will wish he or she made a move earlier. Afterwards, it’s time to vote.

The tribe returns to camp, and Cirie comments how there are still a lot of people left who need to go. Aubry was excluded from the plan to vote out Andrea, and she is upset to see Andrea go. Tai goes to comfort Aubry, which Cirie notices. She’s concerned about how close Tai and Aubry could be.

It’s now time for the next immunity challenge. They all will be perched on top of a pole out in the ocean, and they each will have to use a bucket to retrieve water. They must pour the water into a chute to get a key. Once they get their key, they will have to swim to shore and use the key to unlock a bundle with puzzle pieces. The first person to solve the puzzle will win immunity. The challenge begins, and Michaela is the first to retrieve her key and puzzle pieces. However, soon everyone is at the puzzle-making portion of the challenge at the same time. Sarah is only two pieces away from solving the puzzle, but she made a mistake. Brad is also close, but he has to redo his puzzle. Michaela believes she has her puzzle solved and asks Jeff, but she also made a mistake. Afterwards, Brad puts the puzzle together, and this time he’s right. Brad wins immunity.

The tribe returns to camp, and Aubry and Tai discuss the vote. Tai feels like he needs to make a move to prove to the jury he’s a player, and he sees Sarah as a threat. Aubry later tells Cirie this, and Cirie then tells Sarah that Tai is targeting her. Sarah doesn’t believe Tai is after her, and instead she thinks Aubry is lying. In order to gain Cirie’s loyalty, Sarah gives Cirie her “Steal A Vote” advantage as collateral. When nothing goes wrong, Cirie is supposed to give the advantage back to Sarah. However, Cirie plans to use the advantage to steal Sarah’s vote. She is also worried about Tai playing an idol to spoil her plan, so she talks to Tai to make him feel comfortable. She tells him people are gunning for him, but she’ll play her advantage on Tai. She says she will save Tai. However, Tai is very worried about his name being thrown out.

It’s time for tribal council. Sarah mentions people could be lying to her, and she wants to get to the bottom of it. Cirie says tonight will show where the deception is coming from. Brad adds that there are lies coming from everywhere, but Michaela doesn’t think everyone is lying. Tai says he hopes he’s on the right side of the vote, and Jeff points out how fear seems to be leading the decision-making tonight. Jeff asks if the game will reshuffle, or will the deck stay intact? Michaela says it comes down to what is best for each of them. Before they vote, Cirie plays the “Steal A Vote” and she wants to steal Sarah’s vote. However, Sarah points out that the advantage is nontransferable. Jeff tells Cirie to read the parchment, and Cirie realizes that the advantage is nontransferable. After Sarah takes back her advantage, Sarah walks over to Tai and whispers something in his ear. Cirie and Michaela are now whispering to Sarah, but Troyzan tries to interfere. Michaela tells Troyzan to back up, and now the tribal council is very chaotic as there are lots of different whispered conversations. Sarah then decides to play her advantage. She steals Tai’s vote.  Afterwards, it’s time to vote.

We see people vote for Tai, but he has two hidden immunity idols. However, Tai doesn’t play an idol.
