This is fun. It’s a The Voice reunion Super Bowl LV ad.
In the spot, T-Mobile the cell communications company reimagines how the now engaged couple, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton got together. Enter former The Voice coach Adam Levine, who promises Gwen he’ll set her up with the perfect guy, following her very specific instructions.
Only, their cell-phone connection is so poor, that Adam only catches bits and pieces of the phone call. He thinks she requested a “country” guy, instead of the “cultured, sensitive” guy she requested. And when she added she wanted a man “not threatened by a strong confident woman,” the “not” gets cut off. Oops!
It just so happens that Blake is in the diner where Adam takes Gwen’s cal,l with a plate of nachos. Adam has found Gwen’s perfect guy! Blake shows up for the date Adam arranged, and Gwen’s reaction…well hilarity ensues.
But as we all know, in the end, Blake and Gwen have a happy ending.
