Octo boyband is releasing debut single.
Do you still remember Stereo Kicks? 8 member boyband from season 11 of X Factor UK that wasn’t that bad, but still seemed too big? Well, they are the first act of that season to premiere some original music.
After finishing up the X Factor tour, they embarked on their solo tour and that’s where they premiered their debut single “Love Me So”. The song was written by their member Tom Mann.
The pre-order for the single went up yesterday and it’s doing pretty well (#32 in the UK, #17 in Ireland), especially considering the iTunes release date for the song is 2 months away (June 21st). The boys still have plenty of time to promote the song and collect more pre-orders. The song is being released through their management, James Grant Music.
Stereo Kicks – Love Me So
The Sun’s Dan Wootton is featuring the band in his Bizarre column today. The article is behind the paywall, so I will have to wait to get the details later. But, apparently Stereo Kicks fought their X Factor mentor and boyband manager Louis Walsh (no surprise, the guy behaved like a jerk towards them on the show) and they have a deal with Sony Music?!

Stereo Kicks blast Louis Walsh: ‘We’re glad to be away from him’
Singer Tom Mann described the X Factor judge as “lovely” but said the band were pleased to be going in another direction
Stereo Kicks singer Tom Mann has blasted former mentor Louis Walsh, saying the band are “glad to be away from him”.
The eight-piece group finished fifth on the X Factor last year and have now released their debut single Love Me So, written by Tom.
Talking about their time on the talent show, Tom, 21, said: “We had a bumpy ride because everyone was like, ‘Are there too many, are there too many?’
“Obviously Louis didn’t exactly help the situation by suggesting that a couple of us should be kicked out of the band.”
