Here is everything you need to know about the Songland finale, airing Wednesday September 11 at 9 pm ET/PT after America’s Got Talent Results on NBC.

As always, four songwriters will present their tunes to the panel, hoping to have it recorded by this week’s star pop band, OneRepublic, which is the outfit Ryan Tedder leads. Band mate Zach Filkins and songwriter/producer Jason Evigan (Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson, Maroon 5, Clean Bandit) also take part.

The competition features an all-star panel of songwriters and producers that include Ryan Tedder (Leona Lewis “Bleeding Love,” Beyonce “Halo,” and his own hits with OneRepublic), Ester Dean (Nicki Minaj “Super Bass,” Katy Perry “Firework,” Kelly Clarkson “Mr. Know it All”) and Shane McAnally (Kacey Musgraves “Merry Go Round,” The Band Perry “Better Dig Two,” Keith Urban “Female,”).

Check out this week’s four songwriters.

JT Roach – JT, a Madison, Wisconsin native describes himself as a “singer/songwriter based out of Los Angeles signed with BMG Chrysalis for publishing. I have written songs for Jason Derulo, Lil Jon, Becky G, Krewella, Jake Miller, Daniel Skye, and many others.”  Check out his social media and videos HERE. After college, JT worked for Comcast before having an epiphany that inspired him to quit his day job and move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in songwriting.

Madi – Songwriter Madi Yanofsky hails from Burlington VT, but currently lives in Los Angeles.  Check out her Instagram page. She is featured on a song “Lazy Heart” by Music in Action.

Tyler James Bellinger – Earlier this year, Tyler released a solo EP and single, “Feel Like Home” which “celebrates belonging and acceptance for LGBTQ+ homeless youth. He’s a member of the band KNGDAVD which had several songs synced to commercials and films. Check out his Instagram Facebook Youtube and an interview from a couple of months ago promoting a single “Save Me.” He also mentions appearing on Songland.

Brigetta – From Girlgangmusic.com: “Brigetta is a 19 year old songwriter who left high school in Central Florida at sixteen to move to Nashville and pursue songwriting full-time. By age 19, she signed her first publishing deal with Prescription Songs.” She released a single with Dutch DJ R3HAB, “How You’ve Been” that garnered almost a million streams in less than a week. On her Facebook page, Brigetta asks fans to pre-save her single “Where Does it Hurt” set to come out on 11th–probably her Songland single. Which also means she probably didn’t win. A couple of articles feature singles–“Sick” and “Tic Tac Toe”
