UPDATE: Since the surprise has been spoiled (and he was plenty pissed about it, according to his tweets), Nigel has sent out a press release announcing that Ellen Degeneres will dance the Alex Wong part in the Nappy/Tabs hip-hop with tWitch. I suppose it’s supposed to be a tribute of sorts, but I still don’t like it.
Also appearing tonight: Indie rock duo Black Gold; dance sensations Quest Crew; Charlie Bruce, the winner of the U.K. version of So You Think You Can Dance; and tap-dancing siblings the Manzari Brothers.

Last night’s So You Think You Can Dance finale performance had all three finalists, Kent Boyd, Lauren Froderman and Robert Roldan bringing their A games. And what an entertaining night of dance it was!

At this point, I’m not as willing as I’ve been to hand over the crown to Kent, although I think I’m going to stick with my original prediction here.
Kent’s been consistently popular all season, and while his momentum probably slowed in the last few weeks, I don’t think it entirely stopped. So, I’m predicting Kent Boyd will win the 250K prize money and a spot in a Gatorade ad campaign.
However, if it turns out that Robert or Lauren takes the prize, I won’t be totally shocked.
