Tonight is the night.
I’ve been running the blog on a version of wordpress that is over 2 years out of date, and I desperately need to update to the latest and greatest version for so many reasons. Mostly to keep the blog safe from hackers. But, also, the latest software will allow me to introduce new blog features and the latest updates.
So, here’s how it will go tonight. The blog will be intermittently up and down beginning at 1 am EDT tonight.
Hopefully, the upgrade will only take an hour or so. The blog will look the same, except that the sidebars will both be on the right side, instead of on either side of the content.
Be patient, you’ll be able to read and post again, but there might be a couple of weird glitches that I’ll have to fix tonight and tomorrow. For instance, smileys and quicktags will be unavailable for a day or so. It should be nothing major.
