Scott Dangerfield was an instant favorite when he auditioned for American Idol 10 in Milwaukee. His performance of “Dreamin” by Amos Lee totally blew the judges away.
Scott looked like a computer nerd but sang like a 60 year old black man. The incongruity made him fascinating, and an instant fan favorite.
But something funny happened on the way to Hollywood…Scott was a no show. The mystery was finally solved when it was reported that Hollywood Week clashed with the hopeful’s last semester of a high school student teaching assignment. Scott felt it was more important to keep his commitment to the kids.
What a guy! Doesn’t that make you love him more? With college out of the way, Scott is back this season to give Idol another shot. Check out his Season 10 audition and some of his pre-idol performances below. This boy can sang.
