Saturday Ratings: Smash Shrinks Even Further (Blowing Taps Now)

I’m not going to continue to track Smash’s sad demise. But just in case anybody was still thinking the NBC musical drama had a chance–here are the ratings for Smash’s first Saturday episode.

The ratings have dipped from a 0.9 on Tuesday  to 0.5 and a measly 1.88 million viewers last night.  Even repeats of The Voice and SNL ranked higher. There’s a reason the move is called a “Saturday burnoff.”  At least NBC didn’t yank the show off the air entirely…
