Six new featured players made their debut on Saturday Night Live in the wake of the exodus of cast favorites Fred Armisen, Bill Hader and Jason Sudeikis. So far, there are no breakout stars. I miss Fred Armisen as president Obama and Bill Hader as a smarmy game show host. This could be a rough season for Lorne Michaels.
Tina Fey returned to co-host and the indie rock band, Arcade Fire, were musical guests. Tina’s best skit was the hilarious Girls parody. And Arcade Fire are always A+.

The Arcade Fire people were pretty funny.
Speaking of which.. Performances from musical guest Arcade Fire. Fun Fact to Know and Tell: Win Butler’s grandmother was a member of the 60s 70s vocal group, The King Sisters.
