With 71%/73% of reports in, NF tops the sales chart and Tom Petty tops the combined chart. Usually, I would expect the opposite. Rappers tend to stream well and Rock artists, especially older ones, do not. But NF is a Christian Rapper, so perhaps the streaming dominance of rappers is limited to Urban Rappers. Plus, it is still a close race.
Kane Brown release a deluxe version of his album which features Idol Lauren Alaina. Their duet topped the Country Songs Billboard chart this week. The album is 4th in sales and 6th combined. Lauren Jauregui from Fifth Harmony is featured on a track on Halsey’s album at 38th in sales and 34th combined. The latest Now album, NOW 63, features Camilla Cabelo, Niall Horan and James Arthur (the latter two were nominated for Best New Artist AMA’s).
Other debuts in the top 10 this week are Marilyn Manson (Industrial Rock), August Burns Red (Metalcore), Gwen Stefani (Voice Coach), and Jeremy Camp (Christian).
