Industry analysts predicted Imagine Dragons would easily top the album sales chart, but DJ Khaled’s streams would have him challenging on the combined charts. Currently, Image Dragons (Rock) is topping both charts. In sales, 311 (Rock) is second, Prince (Legend) is 3rd, Radiohead (Rock – good week for Rock) is 4th and Bryson Tiller (Rap) round out the top 5 and are all debuts (even if the Prince album is deluxe version of a previously released album). Vince Staples (Rap) also debuts in the top 10.
Harry Styles’s “Harry Styles” remains on the chart at 26th in sales and combined. Now 62 Features Carrie Underwood, Zayn Malik and Camila Cabello for 11th in sales and 31st combined. Lauren from Fifth Harmony appears on Halsey’s album at 37th in sales and 20th combined. Tori Kelly is on the “Sing” Soundtrack at 44th in sales.
