It’s a Ryan Lochte update! The Dancing with the Stars contestant and disgraced swimmer was ambushed by two protesters after he and his pro-partner, Cheryl Burke, finished performing Monday night.
Today, Ryan posted a message to twitter thanking everybody for their support. The swimmer is “overwhelmed” to have received so much support from everyone on the ABC show, including Cheryl, fellow competitors, producers, the security team and even fans. He’s going to work hard to do his best…

Meanwhile, here’s a clip from this mornings Good Morning America that features an interview with the protesters, Sam Satoodeh, 59, and Barzeen Soroudi, 25 who say they were attended the Olympics in Rio this summer. The men are upset that Lochte is being “rewarded” for bad behavior, but they never intended to hurt anyone. “Lochte is a coward, a liar, and under Brazilian law, a criminal,” said Satoodeh. Both were charged with misdemeanor trespassing Dancing with the Stars told ABC news: “A full evaluation of security procedures [and] protocols is taking place and we will make any changes deemed necessary.
