Reba McEntire Comedy ‘Happy’s Place’ Set for NBC 2024-25 Season

The Voice coach and Country music superstar Reba McEntire is returning to situation comedy. Her new series, Happy’s Place, is set to appear on the NBC 2024-2025 schedule.

The comedy stars Reba McEntire, Belissa Escobedo, Melissa Peterman, Pablo Castelblanco, Tokala Black Elk and Rex Linn. Melissa Peterman starred with Reba on her former sitcom, Reba, which ran from 2001-2007 on The WB and The CW respectively Rex Linn is Reba’s real life partner.

The series synopsis states Bobbie (Reba McEntire) inherits her father’s restaurant and is less than thrilled to discover that she has a new business partner in the half-sister (Belissa Escobedo) she never knew she had.

The new series reunites her Reba team, including writer Kevin Abbott who executive produces Happy’s Place with Michael Hanel, Mindy Schultheis, Julie Abbott and Reba McEntire.

The multi-cam comedy is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.

Currently, Reba is finishing her second season a a coach on The Voice. She performed her brand new single, “I Can’t” live on the Voice stage on Monday (May 6). Additionally, the singer is returning to host and perform on the ACM Awards, streaming on Prime Video Thursday May 16.
