So You Think You Can Dance fell to a season low against The Bachelorette finale, which is up vs last year. Only a Whose Line is It Anyway, and Cedric’s Barber Battle on CW garnered lower ratings. CBS re-runs scored equal to or better ratings.
The current season of The Bachelorette scored a 2.5 overall rating compared to Andi Dorfman’s season last summer, which garnered a 2.2. The emphasis on Kaitlyn and Nick’s pre-fantasy suit sexcapades, and the more sexually explicit depiction of the Fantasy Suite dates probably didn’t hurt the ratings. Expect ABC to sell even more sex when Bachelor/Bachelorette returns to the network.

The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose earned a 2.4 adults 18-49 rating. On FOX, So You Think You Can Dance earned a season low 0.8, down two tenths from last week’s 1.0 adults 18-49 rating.
