Seven of the Top 10 braved super hot and humid weather to greet fans by the barricades in front of the Time Warner arena before tonight’s American Idols Live concert in Charlotte, NC.
Anoop Desai, Kris Allen, Matt Giraud, Michael Sarver, Danny Gokey, Megan Joy and Scott MacIntyre (pretty much the order they came outside in) worked the line–sometimes quickly–signing autographs and taking pictures with fans.
I’m not very good at estimating, but eventually, there was a pretty good sized crowd waiting for the Idols, so there wasn’t much time for chit chat, and at one point, both Danny and Megan had to quit taking photos with fans to get through the entire line before they had to go back inside.
As the M&G wound down, there were chants of “Adam Adam Adam” and “Allison” from fans hoping to lure their favs outside, but Adam has already told his fans to meet him after the concert (not everybody got that memo) and Allison and Lil may have had press duties keeping them indoors today.
