Paul Walker Autopsy Reveals Fast Speed, Injuries. Plus, Fate of Fast & Furious Character

Here’s an update on the death of Fast & Furious star, Paul Walker. According to the coroner’s report released today, the car he was riding in, a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, may have been going over 100 mph before it crashed, killing Walker and the drive, Roger Rodas.

The report also reveals that no alcohol or drugs were found in the systems of either man, nor was the accident caused by mechanical failure or problems with the roadway.

TMZ has the gory autopsy details. Walker had “multiple fractures throughout his body, including his jaw, collarbone, and left upper arm. There were also various ribs and pelvic fractures. According to the report, Walker died from “combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries.” Rodas “suffered major head trauma with the top portion of his skull fractured and his brain exposed.”

Sources close to the investigation tell TMZ, they believe both men died almost immediately.

When Walker died, he was shooting the latest Fast & Furious installment. Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Walker’s character will NOT be killed off. Instead, “the plan is to “retire” the character in a way that the studio hopes will satisfy fans of the franchise and make use of the existing footage of Walker.” The shoot was about half way completed when he died.
