Singer Paul Simon and his wife, Edie Brickell were arrested over the weekend following a fracas at their New Canaan CT house:
Singers Paul Simon and his wife Edie Brickell were arrested over the weekend in Connecticut after police investigated a family dispute, the New Canaan Police Department said.
Simon, 72, and Brickell, 47, were both charged with disorderly conduct.
Over the phone, New Canaan police told NBCConnecticut on Monday morning that Simon was arrested on “some sort of a domestic violence charge.”
Just after 11 a.m., they issued a news release with the charges and said both were released on a promise to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on April 28.
Simon and Brickell were married in 1992, have three children together and live in New Canaan.
