I became bored with the Stacy Francis controversy almost the minute it began. As I said before, my problem with her as an X Factor contestant has nothing to do with her extensive background in show business.
No wonder Adam Lambert was sticking up for X Factor contestant Stacy Francis during her twitter war with blogger and asshat, Perez Hilton! Adam and Stacy worked together, as you can see from this poster advertising a 2008 Upright Cabaret show where they shared the bill.

Due to rain that has caused a two hour delay to the start of that has delayed tonight’s ALCS Championship game (It’s 8 pm here on the east coast and only the 6th inning) X Factor has been CANCELED.
Tonight’s X Factor will air Thursday, starting at 8/7c, and then Sunday, from 8 to 10 pm. That is, if the ALCS does not go seven games.

This U.S. edition of the British hit features auditions, to be followed by mentoring, to be followed by a $5 million prize. On the Wednesday-night, two-hour premiere, X showcased some fine performances, including those of Rachel Crow, Stacy Francis, and Melanie Amaro. Add one or two more depending on your taste (sorry, but to me Marcus Canty sounded like a nice fellow doing an impression of Al Green singing Stevie Wonder), and that’s not much talent to hold one’s interest over two hours.
