Congrats to Simon Cowell’s boys, One Direction. The quintet’s “Best Song Ever” music video, which was released yesterday, racked up the most views ever in a 24 hour period, announced the music video streamer, VEVO.
The final tally for “Best Song Ever” at 12.3 million views beats the previous record, 10.7 million, set by Miley Cyrus and her “We Can’t Stop” video set a few weeks ago.
And the boys didn’t even have to twerk! All it took was getting dressed up in some silly clothers, a few prosthetics, some cross dressing. OK. That was a pretty crazy video. The curiosity factor along probably had people pressing play.
