On The Voice: G-Eazy Performance, Christina Grimmie Announcement

NBC’s The Voice welcomes multiplatinum superstar G-Eazy for season 12’s FIRST live results show, Tuesday, April 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

G-Eazy will perform his new song “Good Life,” which is the end title and closing track in Universal Pictures’ most recent box office hit, The Fate of the Furious. The film just earned the biggest global opening of all time and the single has been enjoying enormous success as an integral part of the movie’s soundtrack.

G-Eazy’s RIAA platinum-certified album When It’s Dark Out, debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums charts upon its release. The album is highlighted by the 7x-platinum certified #1 smash, “Me, Myself & I,” a true global phenomenon that earned more than 1 billion streams worldwide.

Also the family of the late Christina Grimmie announced in a press release that “fans should tune in” to the April 25 episode of The Voice “for a very special announcement.”  The Voice 6 alum’s posthumous release of the album All Is Vanity is set for June 2.

The singer was fatally shot last June in Orlando, Florida, at the age of 22. The release date of All Is Vanity coincides with National Gun Violence Awareness Day.
