Numbers Thread – 01/23/18

This thread is brought to you by the numbers 1 and 30.

After weeks of being in the runner-up category (7 nonconsecutive weeks), Camila Cabello’s “Havana” tops the Hot 100. This is her first time topping the Hot 100. It counts as the debut single from her “Camila” album which also topped the BB200 this week (the other three singles she released before or at the same time as “Havana” were left off the album). The article goes on to note some interesting 1D and 5H facts (e.g. both Camila and Zayn left their groups first and got number ones on the Hot 100 and BB200 while 1D and 5H never had number ones on the Hot 100 as a group).

This article discusses other acts that have achieved the top of the Hot 100 and BB200 at the same time. Camila is the first act since Britney to achieve both firsts the first time in the same week.

This HDD article discuss the tenacity required from both Camila and her label to get those number ones.
