Way back when Carly Rae Jepsen competed on Canadian Idol. In recent years, she released a critically acclaimed pop album, Emotions, but has had only one major chart hit, the ubiquitous 2012 smash “Call Me Maybe.” The latest album is Emotion Side B, which you can check out right here. Hopefully her hit making prowess will catch up with the positive reviews.

Ah. Ryan Quinn. He was a The Voice 10 front runner during the Blind Auditions. Who didn’t assume he’d make it to the finals along with eventual winner Alisan Porter? But it wasn’t meant to be. The soulful singer was knocked out of the running at the Live Playoffs and his mentor, Christina Aguilera, chose not to save him. For disappointed fans here’s a new song from the soulful singer titled “Unbearable.”

Chord Overstreet – Homeland

Do ya’ll remember Glee? The FOX musical comedy has been off the air for over a year. The stars of the show have all fanned out to pursue other opportunities. In Chord Overstreet’s case, that means a music career. It makes sense–his father is Nashville songwriter Paul Overstreet and his brother Nash is a member of the band Hot Chelle Rae. Chord has signed a record deal with Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato’s new Island imprint, Safehouse Records. Check out his first single, “Homeland” here.
