The MTV Video Music Awards were announced today, and unfortunately, American Idols were completely shut out of the nominations.
Carrie Underwood, Adam Lambert, Kris Allen and more had videos that were eligible, but alas, were not nominated.
Lady Gaga leads the pack, of course, with 13 nominations. Eminem is next with 8 and Justin Bieber is up for Best New Artist.
