Three airplay milestones to report this week – all from Idols.
American Idol Season 4 winner Carrie Underwood airs her “Dirty Laundry” on Country radio. The song, her 4th single from her 5th album debuts in the top 40 on Country. Also on Country is Season 10 runner-up Lauren Ailana. “Road Lest Travelled” hits the top 30.
Over on CAC, we have Danny Gokey who was third on Season 8. His “Rise” has risen into the top 30. It is the debut single for his TBA album.
One Direction finds renewed favour on AC. “Drag Me Down” returns to the top 40 and “Perfect” returns to the chart.
Billboard reports that Travis Scott manages his first number one with 88K equivalent albums and 53K traditional albums.
