Monday Morning Mediabase Update – May 24 – May 30

This was a rough week for Mediabase watchers. The site had a server upgrade on Wednesday and there were no updates until Sunday. I think that a lot of people were hoping for big updates, but they were actually kind of weak. Possibly, some data fell into that great bit-bucket in the sky? Who knows? It’s hard to be grumbly when folks at Mediabase are losing jobs as a planned part of the upgrade.

Anyway, fear not, there were some milestones. The two Kelly/ie’s moved into top 40 in two different formats. Kelly’s “All I Ever Wanted” is now top 40 on AC (top 40 in two formats and two songs in the top 40 in that format) while Kellie’s new single is in the top 40 on Country. And that’s it. Sigh. Let’s hope that things are more exciting (in a good way) next week.
