Monday Morning Mediabase Update: May 19-25

There are four Mediabase Milestones this Memorial Day Monday Morning…three of them are debuts.

Cher Lloyd from X-Factor UK manages two milestones for two different songs on Pop. Her “Sirens” debuts in the top 50. The single was originally launched March 17th in the UK and is intended to be the lead-off single from her second album. Cher has been touring with Demi and a single collaberation is now being released. Demi’s “Really Don’t Care” featuring Cher also debuts in the top 50.

Another debut in the top 50 is Daughtry’s “Battleships” on HAC. This is their second single off their 4th album.

Finally, we have Danny Gokey achieving his first top 20 song on CAC. “Hope in Front of Me” is the lead-off single for his Christian album.

With this being a holiday, HDD will likely not report on Phillip Phillips new album. Also, adds will likely be light.
