This week three songs enter the top 20.
Checking in at number 18 is Kelly Clarkson’s “Heartbeat Song”. This is the debut single from her seventh album and it is currently charting on all three mainstream formats. It is top 20 on Pop and top 10 on HAC/AC.
Another Idol cracks the top 20 with “More Than You Think I Am”. Danny Gokey finished third on the much debated Season 8, dabbled in Country before finding his home format on CAC. He has become quite the staple there.
Finally, we have the lads from across the sea. One Direction was formed on X-Factor UK from a bunch of cute young guys (a few who were actually pretty decent singers) and they seemed pretty doomed from the start. But these guys have managed to become touring behomoths and move a lot of units. Their latest single “Night Changes” went top 20 on HAC. It is also top 15 on Pop and top 30 on AC.
