There are two milestones all from Idols this week. Two different songs, two different formats, two different franchises.
First up is our latest American Idol winner, Phillip Phillips. Phil’s second single (first after his coronation song), “Gone, Gone, Gone” is resonating on both AAA and HAC. This week, GGG went top 5 on AAA. Is it headed to number 1? His coronation song was able to sit at the top of the AAA chart for several weeks. Speaking of “Home”, it continues to top the AC chart.
Carly Rae Jepsen from Canadian Idol has our second milestone. Her third/fourth single “Tonight I’m Getting Over You” is having a steady, if not spectacular, rise. It moved into the top 40 on Pop this week.
