Monday Morning Mediabase Update: June 8-14

A whopping 8 Monday Morning Mediabase Milestones this week – it’s the Idominus Rex of Mediabase reports.

Adam Lambert’s third studio album is being released this week, so he picked a good time to achieve two milestones. His lead-off single went top 30 on Pop and top 50 on AC. Now, some of our readers pointed out that “Ghost Town” actually went top 50 on the published AC chart a few weeks ago, but this is the first time its been in the top 50 for a Monday Morning Mediabase Milestone. “Ghost Town” is now top 50 in the three mainstream format, top 30 in two and just outside of the top 20 on HAC.

Also making in-roads on Pop this week are Tori Kelly (her album is out next week) with her second single (“Should’ve Been Us”) from her debut album going top 40. Bea Miller, from X-Factor USA, gets “Fire N Gold” debuting on Pop in the top 50. It is also her second single.

If we slide over to HAC, we get milestones from our oldest and newest Idol winners (I mean years since winning Idol – they are actually quite close in age). Kelly Clarkson gets two milestones with her second single from her seventh album. “Invincible” goes top 20 on HAC and top 40 on AC. She has two songs currently charting in the top 40 on AC. Nick Fradiani racks up another milestone this week with his debut single “Beautiful Life” going top 40 on HAC. His single also returns to the top 40 on Pop. The song is charting on all three mainstream formats and top 40 in two.

Also returning to a former milestones is Canaan Smith from The Amazing Race. His “Love You Like That” returns to the top 10 on Country.

Finally, we have Danny Gokey from the same season as Adam Lambert. “More Than You Think I Am” goes top 10 on CAC.
