Monday Morning Mediabase Update – July 5-11

Not only did Carrie get married this week, but she also finally moves into the top 5 on Country. I bet I know which miletsone she’ll remember in years to come. There was a massive gap between 5 and 6 on the Country chart, so it just took a little bit of time for “Undo It” to chip away at it. The song is now sitting pretty at 3 and looks like it soon should be number 2. Will it give her yet another number 1? Wouldn’t surprise me in the least.

Also reaching a milestone on Country was Danny Gokey. His second single “I Will Not Say Goodbye” has reached top 50 in that format. Meanwhile, over on CAC, Phil’s “Some Kind of Love” has moved into the top 30.
