Monday Morning Mediabase Update: Jul 8-14

Four milestones this week on radio – all from Idols.

Carrie Underwood has 2 milestones all on her own. First up, “See You Again” has gone top 10 on Country. This is her fourth single from her fourth studio album and all four have gone top 10 in this format. “See You Again” also crossed-over onto HAC this week, moving into the top 50.

Kelly Clarkson, a HAC staple, crossed-over in the opposite direction. She’s had success in the past with Country singles (including going to number one with a duet she did with Jason Aldean), so she’s continuing to work at it. “Tie it Up” enters the Country chart in the top 50.

Finally, we have Colton Dixon moving up to the top 40 on CAC with his Idol Tour song (“Never Gone” is an original song he wrote and then performed on the Idol tour).
