This week’s Mediabase Monday Morning Milestones features two Idol winners and a runner-up from UK X-Factor – all achieving top 40.
Fantasia, the winner of season 3 of American Idol, goes top 40 on Urban with “Without You” featuring Kelly Rowland. She still has an active solo single, “Lose to Win”, on UAC which is now top 3.
Original American Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson, goes top 40 on Pop this week with her second single off her Greatest Hits album. “People Like Us” is also top 20 on HAC.
Finally, Olly Murs, runner-up on the X-Factor in season 6 to Joe McElderry. “Troublemaker” went top 10 on Pop, is currently in the top 15 on HAC and just entered the AC chart in the top 40.
